While having worked with clients of all ages, I specialize in ages 3-18 years old. I offer play therapy to my younger clients and assist children and adolescents who struggle with behavioral issues. I have experience working with clients who have been diagnosed with ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety, and Depression. I enjoy working within the LGBTQ community.
When working with children, I find it important to work with the family, as well. I come alongside the parents to give their child the skills they need to succeed.

Are you finding it challenging to manage your emotions, having difficulty maintaining meaningful relationships, or just looking to find growth in your life?
I am here for you.
Many people find it daunting to talk about their troubles, which can make them feel as though they are alone in their experience. In therapy you have someone who can confide in and who will provide a non judgmental perspective to help you find increased peace and joy in your life.
Our mental health matters, and it is never too late to start investing in yourself. As you are beginning this journey, I will collaborate with you to create the best plan for you and your goals. You do not have to go through this alone!
For many years, I have had the privilege of helping individuals to heal from depression, anxiety, trauma, low self esteem, and more. I work with ages 5 and up. When working with children, I see therapy as a family experience. I have a particular passion for working with parents. I help parents to increase their repertoire of skills so that they can help grow their children with the least stress possible.

Many of us go through periods of time in our lives where we struggle to manage the emotions that flood us. We may struggle with negative thoughts, self doubts, or lack of motivation or resources to reach our goals.
As a licensed clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience, I have worked in a number of settings helping others find meaning and passion in their lives. I utilize a number of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (including trauma focused), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Play Therapy, to design a plan that works best for each individual person. Whether we are working on behavioral modification or exploring old wounds from the past, therapy should always be client-focused.

Some say “Life’s a journey, not a destination.” But what if your journey has always been an uphill climb, or worse yet, you reached the top and realized you had taken the wrong path? Our experiences in life often make it difficult to find the right route but I believe I can help you find it.
I completed my undergraduate studies at Mercer University, earned my Master’s degree at Argosy University, and was a research assistant at Georgia Tech in Dr. Eric Schumacher’s Cognitive Neuroscience lab. My clinical training includes neuropsychological assessment, trauma and substance abuse therapy, and individual outpatient therapy, with specialized training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I have worked with children (ages 7 to 18) and their families both at home and in the school. In addition to working with children, I have provided services to adults struggling with severe mental health disorders as part of the medical/clinical teams at Serenity Behavioral Health Systems and Augusta State Medical Prison. My education and clinical experience gives me a wide skill set to pull from when it comes to developing an individualized treatment plan for my clients because I believe therapy should be about the individual.
I know that meeting life’s demands and committing to positive change can be difficult and painful at times, but you are not alone. It is my hope that through our collaborative relationship you can find the fulfillment and peace of mind you have been seeking.
